Gail Porter delights all at our Manor Breakfast Club

May 9, 2024

On Wednesday 8th May Reigate Manor in association with Gatwick Diamond Business hosted their second breakfast in their new Manor Breakfast Club events. 50 guests from local businesses over Surrey, Kent, Sussex and South London were in attendance to hear from television personality Gail Porter.

Gail Porter shared her career into stardom and experiences from the world of television, along with the challenges she has had to overcome with her mental health and being homeless.

Operations Director Giles Thomas said “Our second Manor Breakfast Club was a enjoyable morning with once again some great local businesses in attendance. Gail has really had some challenges over recent years and was great hearing how she came into fame and also how she has overcome those challenges.”

Attendees from the day also shared their praise on Linkediin.

Stefan Buss, Head of Stef’s Digital “It’s rare to come across a keynote speaker that is really, REALLY inspirational and the other day had the pleasure in listening to Gail Porter speak! An amazing blend of authentic experiences, great humour and good storytelling! Thanks Gail!.”

Graham Lloyd-Evans, Director GK Office Ltd “It was great to meet up with so many amazing people and I had the honour of meeting the legend that is Gail Porter. Gail gave us an emotive insight into the struggles she has faced in her life and how she continues to deal with them. It was wonderful to listen to someone genuinely share what they have been through.”

Sally Cranahm, Current Utilities “From her earliest job at B&Q to the crazy world of tv, music, and modelling. Now she works to bring awareness to homelessness with her current project working with Prince William and others. What were my takeaways? Everyone is writing a story, everyone rides the peaks and the valleys of life, everyone can make a choice in their circumstances. I also learnt that for some, like Gail, there isn’t much left private. So, onwards we go, listening to others, holding onto hope and using our story for good. Thank you Gail.”
